Why Export Packaging Matters
Sea freight exposes steel to humidity, salt spray, stacking pressure and long transit times. Without correct packaging, even high-quality steel can arrive with rust, deformation or mixed marks. Our packaging is designed to keep products mill-new until they reach your warehouse.
Our Export Packaging Methods
1. Bundle & Strap (Long Products)
Rebar, deformed bars, sections, pipes and wire rod are bundled with steel straps, tagged with mill marks and stacked for container or break-bulk loading. Bundles are sized for safe handling and lashing.
2. Steel-Frame Crates & Wooden Boxes (Plates & Sheets)
Steel plates, sheets and cut parts are packed in steel-frame crates or wooden boxes with dunnage and edge protection to prevent movement and surface damage during transit.
3. Waterproof & Edge Protection (Galvanized & Coils)
Galvanized sheets, pipes and coils are wrapped with VCI paper and stretch film, fitted with edge protectors and corner guards to preserve the coating and prevent moisture ingress.
4. Coil Packaging
Hot-rolled and galvanized coils are packaged eye-to-sky or eye-to-wall with seaworthy wrapping, paper core protection and steel strapping according to client requirement.
Rust & Moisture Protection
We apply VCI (volatile corrosion inhibitor) paper, desiccant packs and anti-rust oil where needed, and use waterproof outer wrapping for galvanized and coated products. This keeps surfaces clean and rust-free even on long ocean routes.
Container Loading & Lashing
We load 20ft and 40ft containers with calculated weight distribution, steel lashing, wooden dunnage and bracing to meet carrier and destination-port requirements. Typical payloads: 20ft ≈ 28 t, 40ft ≈ 26 t (subject to product and route).
Marking & Compliance
Each bundle and package carries clear shipping marks, heat/lot numbers and lifting signs. Wooden packaging is ISPM 15 heat-treated and stamped. Mill test certificates (EN 10204 3.1) and inspection documents travel with the shipment.

How are your steel products packed for export?
Depending on the product shape we use loose bundling with steel straps for long products (rebar, sections, pipes), steel-frame crates or wooden boxes for plates and sheets, and waterproof wrapping with edge protectors for galvanized products and coils. All packaging is seaworthy and suitable for long ocean transport.

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
We do not impose a strict minimum. We can ship as little as one ton for both stock and custom items, which makes us flexible for trial orders and small projects.
What are your delivery lead times?
Stock items can be dispatched within 3 days to the port. Orders that require export packaging take about one week to reach the port. Custom-production lead times are quoted case by case based on the specific product.
What are your payment terms?
For stock orders we require a 10% deposit with the balance paid before shipment. For custom production we require a 50% deposit with the balance paid before shipment.
Do you provide mill test certificates (MTC)?
Yes. Every shipment is accompanied by an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate, and third-party inspection (SGS/BV) can be arranged on request.
Can the packaging be customized to our standard?
Absolutely. We package according to your specifications, destination climate and destination-port requirements, including special marking, VCI rust prevention and reinforced lashing.
