- Pre-drilled to your fishplate pattern. Holes and end drilling are done at the mill, so rails can be laid on arrival.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between light rail and heavy rail?
As a working convention light rail runs from 8 to about 30 kg/m and is used for narrow gauge, tramways, mining and crane track. Heavy rail from 38 kg/m upward is used for main line railway.
Can rails be supplied pre-drilled?
Yes. Drilling and end hardening are carried out to your fishplate drawing before shipment.
Do you supply fishplates and fastenings?
Yes — fishplates, tie plates, rail clips, bolts and base plates can be supplied with the rails as a complete track package.
How are rails shipped?
Normally bundled and strapped for breakbulk or container, with bundle weight and dimensions kept within your receiving equipment’s capacity.
