Hot-rolled plate, medium and heavy plate, checkered plate, cold-rolled sheet, hot-dip galvanized sheet and stainless steel sheet — from 0.3 mm to 400 mm. We cut to size and, where a plate is needed for a classified application, supply it against the relevant classification society certificate.

- Cut to size before shipping. Plasma, flame and waterjet cutting mean you receive the finished part rather than a full plate you have to process again.
- Classified plate with the certificate that matters. Shipbuilding and offshore plate is supplied against certificates from CCS, BV, RINA, RS, ABS, KR, DNV and ClassNK.
- Both metric and imperial sizing. Widths and thicknesses can be supplied to your drawing, including imperial equivalents for North American projects.
- Consolidated loading with sections and tubes. Plate is often the flat item that fills the space above bundles in a container.
Frequently asked questions
Can you supply shipbuilding plate with a classification society certificate?
Yes. We supply shipbuilding and offshore plate grade A/B/D/E and AH/DH/EH32/36 with certificates from CCS, BV, RINA, RS, ABS, KR, DNV and ClassNK. Please specify the society and grade required in your enquiry.
Do you cut plate to size?
Yes — plasma, flame and waterjet cutting to your drawing. Cut plate is bundled, edge-protected and labelled per part number.
What is the difference between medium plate and heavy plate?
As a working convention medium plate runs from about 4 mm to 20 mm and heavy plate from 20 mm upward. We supply the full 1.5 – 400 mm range, so the boundary is set by your specification rather than by our stock.
How is plate protected during shipping?
Plates are stacked and strapped with edge protection and, for pickled or galvanized surfaces, interleaved to prevent abrasion. Optional VCI wrapping is available for long sea voyages.
